First day at Disneyland!!!!!

We made it to Disneyland on Monday morning. We were aiming to leave the hotel by 8:00 am and we did pretty good considering how many people we had. We left at about 8:15 and everyone was ready and had already eaten breakfast.
The one picture that I wanted to make sure to get while we were there was this one in front of the Mickey Mouse. I have a frame that I wanted to replace this same picture in from the last time we were there. We got there though and there was a marching band playing and they just kept on going so we gave up and this is the best picture we got. I was too lazy to stop and try again so this is it. :)
We are headed to the Dumbo ride so we made sure to go through the castle. The kids are already taking a break on the bench and we have only been there for 10 minutes.
Alex, Megan, Rena, Maleah, and Cameron
Steve, Bonnie, Kate, and Maleah in line for one of many rides.
Megan and Scotty after getting off of the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Alex and Mike in line.
Peggy, Stacy, Steve and Bonnie riding something.
Stefanie, Megan, Steve, and Bonnie waiting for the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Taylor and Mark were waiting back at the hotel for us. They came to pick up Peggy and Scott to go back to their house for a couple of days. They were good sports to because we didn't get back until about 12:30 in the morning and they still had about a 3 hour drive to get back up the mountain. The rest of us went to bed so that we could be back by 8:00 am again. We had so much fun!!!!!!!

Universal Studios

We made it to Universal Studios on Sunday. We left the house around 8:00 am and arrived at Universal around 10:30 or so. We spent a long day there and got to see and enjoy everything. It was the beginning of a long and fun three days.
Stefanie is taking our picture as we get ready to go into the park and Mike is taking all of ours.
Mike and Alex on the tour of the studios.
Stefanie, Maleah, Rena, and Megan all got to meet Dora. It was an exciting picture.
Scott convinced us all to go on a log ride with him. He swore we wouldn't get to wet. He was laughing when we got done and we were all soaked.
Kate, Megan, Scotty, Gimi, Peggy, Alex and Stacy
Gimi, Stacy, Peggy, Stefanie, and Mike.
We had a great day at Universal. We headed back to the hotel and got to bed a bit after midnight so that we could get up bright and early to start our first day at Disneyland.

Headed to the Beach

It's our first day at Stefanie's house and we are going to spend it at the beach in the sunshine doing nothing. It sounds like such a fun day.
Megan, Maleah, and Rena are playing outside while we get ready to go.
Kate is braiding Rena's hair and Megan is braiding Maleah's so that we can go to the beach and still look beautiful.
Stefanie is busy making sandwichs to take with us.
We finally arrived. It looked like we were moving in but they have a system down to get everything out to the beach in one trip. It worked really well.
Megan, Stefanie, and Mike. They were anxious to hit the water.
Alex and Cameron trying to decide whether to get in or not. It was pretty cold.
Stefanie, Maleah, Mike and Jeff. I love the way Jeff applies his sun lotion. :)
Bonnie, Kate, and Megan riding the waves. They got really good by the end of the day but they are all really sun burned.
Alex and Cameron making something in the sand. I am not sure what it was suppose to be.
Stefanie, Stacy, and Jeff. Don't we look relaxed? :)
It was so much fun to do nothing all day. Tomorrow we are headed to Universal Studios and Monday and Tuesday we are going to Disneyland so I can't update until Wednesday. See you then!!!!!

On our way to sunny California!!!!!

It is finally time. We are on our way to California. We left on Friday night and arrived at the Long Beach airport at 9:30 the evening. Megan, Stacy and Alex riding the tram to the gate at Sea Tac.
Alex is comfy on the plane playing his game boy or nintendo. I get them confused.
Megan had her i-pod to keep her entertained.
We got off the plane outside. Megan thought it was pretty cool to do that. I guess she has never done that before.
Stacy and Stefanie in the car on the way home.
We are so excited to be here and look forward to all of our fun this week.

Getting so old!!!!!

Mike and I had our 20 year class reunion this past weekend. We went to the Milton Tavern on Friday night and the Liberty Theatre on Saturday night. It was a lot of fun to get to see people we haven't seen in years.
All of the classmates got on stage for a huge group photo.
Scott, Pat, and Kathy.
Mike and I

Diana and Mike.
It was a nice weekend and fun to get to see everyone. I can hardly wait to be old enough to go to the 30 yr. one. :)

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July weekend. We started it off on Friday night with some sparklers that Mike had bought for the kids. They didn't last to long but the kids enjoyed them.
Alex was more excited about them then Megan was.
Megan was sure that she was going to burn herself.
We spent the 4th over at our friends, Mark and Michelle's, house. We had fun as usual and the weather was great. This is Mike, Pat and Mark.
Michelle and Kathy are relaxing on the deck.
They had the annual horse shoe tournament.
The boys played kick ball in the front yard.
The girls just walked around checking everything out. I dropped my camera and broke it then so I couldn't get anymore pictures after this.
I figured out that Megan had her camera with her when the fireworks started so I got a couple of pictures of that but they didn't turn out to good. Next time I am just going to have to take her camera.

Megan's Ears

Megan has been wanting to get her ear's pierced again for awhile and I keep not taking her so I gave in this weekend and took her down to the mall so she could get some more holes poked into her head.
Here is the before. One lonely hole......
They are sticking her with the needle and she didn't even jump.
Here is the after. She got a star earrings and they look really cute. She said they didn't even hurt.
