It's a Party!!!!!

We had a party tonight. The kids asked the other day if we could have a party tonight so I said sure not realizing how serious they were about it. They have been talking about it ever since and tonight when I got home from work they wanted to know what time it started. I told them to be ready at 5:00 pm and then I had to hurry. I got out some snacks, the ice bucket, drinks, and cups and started baking the cupcakes that I had promised Rena.

All of our guests arrived promptly at 5:00 and they were hungry and thirsty when they walked through the door.

Rena had even changed into her pretty party clothes.

Everyone went out to play basketball while I finished making the rest of our tasty food.

The kids were not to excited but we watched the tribute to Dave Niehaus. It cut into our party time but it was still fun to watch it.

We danced the night away.

We had cupcakes and ice cream and we even lit a candle and sang happy party night to us.

Megan and Stefanie worked on Stefanie's homework. They are making a blog for one of Stefanie's classes and it is turning out great.

Stefanie had an early birthday present for Megan so we sang Happy Birthday to her with our cupcakes.

Stefanie made her this cool coin bank. She painted it herself and even put Megan's name on the side. It was so cute.

I think our party went great and everyone seemed to have a good time. It is going to be hard to say goodbye to everyone tomorrow. We have had so much fun!!!!!
