On the road

I took Megan out to practice driving after dark and I quickly decided (after sailing through the first stop sign that we came to like it was nothing more than a big red decoration on the side of the road) that if I was going to die an early death that I might as well go out with my favorite snack, a fountain Diet Coke from McDonalds so, we headed toward downtown and went to get one. She did pretty good driving after my corinary that I had about the stop sign so we drove around on the back roads for about an hour before heading home for solid ground.
Her first fast food drive thru as the driver. I felt much better after we made it through the line and I had my cool refreshing beverage to sip on for the rest of the ride.

Her, "I KNOW" smirk. Everytime I pointed something out, like don't hit the cars on the side of the road or, you might want to turn a little sharper as to stay out of the on coming traffics lane, this is the smirk that I got. Luckily we made it home in one piece and she was getting much better as we kept going. She thinks she is driving to the football game tonight but I am not to sure about the rain yet. I don't know how many more fountain soda's I can afford to buy to make sure I don't have a heart attack!!!!!! I will keep you posted.

Why you and not Mike? Are you afraid she might kill him? ...or afraid of him killing her? AND, could you just call the Yahn household before she hits the road for practice...PLEASE!

Sandy, I will definately keep you posted when we hit the road. Maybe I will drive her over to your place. :) She did drive Mike's truck to the gas station but he isn't to excited about that. I guess he would rather my car get demolished.
Megan you did to. As soon as we crossed the railroad tracks. Nice try!!!!!a

She looks good! I think you should stick with day time driving, dry roads and maybe even one-way roads! Atleast she got the drive-thru down -- I still hit curbs going thru drive-thrus! :)
