The end of a hard goodbye!!!!

Well, Sunday arrived and we had to take Stefanie and the kids to the airport. They are headed to Peoria to meet up with Jeff and Rena. I think that they are going to enjoy their new house once they get settled and they might even get to see some sunshine around there this summer.

This was the best picture I could get of Stefanie and Maleah as they boarded the plane. It looked really good through the tears when I was taking it.
I got a good final wave from Cameron as he boarded. It looked really good to me through the tears also but it seems a bit blurry now.

Stefanie has a friend that works for the airlines so she got us passes to go clear out to the gate and help with the kids. A lady watching us all cry must have felt sorry for us because she offered to take our picture together. It turned out good and I don't think that you can tell that any of us were crying.

This was how Alex and Cameron said goodbye. I guess that boys don't cry as much as girls do.

Megan, however, wasn't shy about shedding a tear or two. She has finally stopped now so that is good. I was afraid that I was going to have to start hydrating her with an I.V. pretty soon.

Fun Filled Weekend

My Sister, Stefanie, and two of her kids, Cameron and Maleah, got to spend the weekend with us before they left for Peoria, Illinois. It was a really fun weekend. She had her friends Craig and Lisa come over on Saturday so the kids got to play outside and everyone else got to catch up. It was a really great weekend!!!!!
Megan, Cameron and Maleah are taking a break.
Stefanie and Lisa. They are still as cute as when they were 16. :)

The boys found the dirt pile out in the back yard. They obviously played in it for awhile.

The rest of us got to sit out in the warm weather and chat all afternoon.

Mike gets so excited when Maleah will sit with him. When Rena is around she doesn't really like to hang out with him so Maleah is his new pal.

The boys play with their legos and Star Wars toys all the time. This weekend the boys were really into their light sabers. I think that is what they are called. I am not really a Star Wars fan!!!

Megan and Maleah played hair salon. Megan would fix Maleah's hair and then she would work on Megan's. They both did a great job. They looked so beautiful when they were done.

High School Musical

Megan got tickets to see the High School Musical at the Paramount Theatre for her birthday so her and I headed to Seattle on Wednesday night to see it. I let her pick where she wanted to go for dinner on the way. Keep in mind I let her pick anyplace that she wanted, we went to McDonalds. The good news is that she wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory afterwards for dessert. We had the most expensive scoop of ice cream that I have ever paid for but it was alot of fun.

Megan is getting excited for the show to start!!!!!
We decided to take our picture at intermission. It gave us something to do!!!!

The beginning of a hard goodbye!!!!!!

It was so hard to say goodbye to Rena. She is the cutest thing ever!!!! She looked so sad when she figured out that she wasn't going to see Megan for awhile. We are planning a visit this summer though so hopefully she won't have to wait to long. I think she is going to love the warm summer they will have though so hopefully that will make her smile again......
This is the best picture of Jeff we could get. It really is his best side!!!!!! I hope he doesn't teach his kids to do that. :)

Jeff and Rena are leaving on Wednesday morning so we all went to dinner one more time on Monday night before they have to head out. We get to spend the weekend with Stefanie, Cameron and Maleah but we had to say a very hard goodbye to Jeff and Rena. :(

We arrived and Stefanie and Jeff's house today to see this huge truck in their driveway. I guess they weren't joking when they said they were moving!!!!

Vegas Vacation

We got to watch a FREE Sugarland concert. It made the
whole trip. It was a great show and the price was right.
Heidi and I. It was so warm there. We were loving it.

My friends, Sue and Heidi. We had a great weekend.

Alex's Program

Alex and his friends after their program at school. They
were great singers and dancers!!!!!
Megan and her friends are enjoying the show.

Alex's big show at school. The entire 3rd grade got to sing
