The big day.

Today was Megan's 14th Birthday. I don't know where the time has gone. It seems like she was just born yesterday. The good news is that while she is aging at a rapid pace I have stayed the same nice young age as when she was born.....
Here is her breakfast cake. It is actually a chewy granola bar and the candle didn't want to stand up so I didn't light it. I was afraid I might burn down the house.
A couple of Megan's friends at school brought her these balloons. She had to carry them around all day.
When she got home from school she had homemade macaroni and cheese. That would be what she picked and then we went and saw the Alice and Wonderland movie that she wanted to see. When we got back home we had a few presents for her and a brownie because I was to lazy to make a cake. :)
She is on the phone talking to one of the many people that called her tonight.
She is all ready to open her gifts.
Alex bought her this new bag.
Happy Birthday Megan!!!!!!! I hope you have another great year.
Stay tuned for more birthday pictures to come. We are having a house full of 14 year olds on Friday night. This should be fun and I am sure we will have some good pictures from it.....

Birthday week begins!!!!

Megan is turning 14 on Tuesday so we went out for an early birthday dinner with her friend Olivia and Mike's Mom and Dad.
Megan picked the old spaghetti factory for dinner. They had these mats on the tables with all of the spaghetti factories around so we sat for about 10 minutes trying to decide which picture was the Tacoma one that we were at. The girls went outside at one point to compare the pictures to the building. After all of this was over and we figured out which one it was we realized they were listed in order around the outside of the mat.

Alex, Mike, Jim and Marilyn after we got seated.
Oh yummy, that looks really good!!!!!

Megan got a couple of birthday presents. She really liked the hair clips and the money from Jim and Marilyn. She wasn't nearly as excited about the capri pants and tank top that we gave her. :)
Tuesday is her real birthday so we will make a cake, probably with seven minute frosting, and then she is having a bunch of her friends over on Friday night for her fun party. Stay posted for some more exciting photos!!!!!

Spring Fair

We had a busy weekend around here. We finished it off by going to the Spring Fair on Sunday. Heidi, Jacob, Megan and I all went down to eat a lot of junk food and ride a few rides. It was actually really warm out so we had a lot of fun.
We made it inside. What to do first? Silly question. We went for curly fries. They were sooooooo good!!!!!
We headed over to the rides after our first snack. This is the ride Jacob picked to start with.
Alex had gone to the fair with our neighbors, Dennis and Connor. We ran into them a couple of times.
Megan picked the next ride and it was the big roller coaster. Jacob wasn't to sure about it to start with but he was tall enough so here they are in line.
That is them in the middle car. Jacob looks like he is holding onto Megan for dear life but when it was over he said it was a lot of fun.
And then we saw Alex again. It's like he was following us!!!!!!!
Jacob picked the bumper cars. His arms were barely long enough to reach the steering wheel but they still managed to run into a few people.
We moved onto the slide next. It wasn't as big as the giant yellow one but that one wasn't open so this was a close second.
That was a lot of rides so far so we had to take a food break. Shocking, I know. We had elephant ears and fair burgers on this stop. We ate them so fast though we couldn't get any pictures of them.
Heidi and I even got to go on a ride with the kids. The Ferris Wheel was our big ride of the day. It was a nice view from the top atleast!!!!!
Last but not least we went to the jumpy thing. I have no idea what it is actually called. Jacob and Megan both had fun on this one. Good thing because it had the longest line ever.
There they both are. High in the sky. I am sure you can guess but we needed a snack after that one. That was almost like exercise. We went for scones next and then headed out. We did make a stop at the 7-11 after we left for cheap icee's and soda's. They were way to expensive and the lines were way to long in the fair.
We had another fun day and got to go out and enjoy the sunshine for awhile. It could be months before we see it again!!!!!

More wedding pictures of us

I had to post more pictures of us going to the weddding. We don't go out and dress up that much so I got lots of pictures while we were out. :)

Mike set up the timer to take on of all of us. The table was a little low so it's pointing up at us.

I think that is most of our pictures now. I will stop posting wedding pictures and move on to more of our fun weekend.

What a fun wedding

We got to go to Stephanie Silvernails wedding over the weekend. We had such a good time and it was so great to get to see everyone. We spent so much time with the Silvernail's growing up and it is so fun to see everyone and talk about all of the funny things we have all done. It was a beautiful wedding and now between the 8 of us we have 4 names. 2 Stefanie's, 2 Stacy's, 3 Michaels, and 1 lonely Jeff.

They had the coolest cake. It was layers of cupcakes with a cake for them on top. It was really good and you could taste test as many cupcakes as you could eat.

We had such a good time. The wedding was at a winery in Woodinville and it was beautiful. I have so many more pictures that I might just have to post more later.
