Homecoming!!!!

Today was the big day.  It is homecoming.  Megan got up at the crack of dawn to go take the PSAT test at Rogers and got back home about noon to start getting ready for the dance.  She had to decide what to do with her hair and we had to go to Target to get some cushions for her shoes. :)
We got home from the mall and it was time to get showered and start working.  She started with her hair.  It is so long that it feels like it takes forever to curl but it looks so darn cute when she is done with it.  I even got to help this time because she couldn't see the back to well.
The finished hair.  It looked so cute.  She did an excellent job styling it and the red flowers looked perfect.
She is all ready to go.  She looks so beautiful!!!!!
Megan and Alex.  He wasn't dressed nearly as nice so he only got a head shot!!!!!!
Everyone met at our house.  It has been raining all day so we had to make a quick exit to get some pictures outside between rain drops.
We lost a few guys in this one. :)
Megan and Jake.  I hope she can make it all night in those shoes.  They were so darn cute.
All dressed up and ready to go.
All of the guys getting anxious.
 All of the girls.
In the car and ready to dance.
Everyone was going to the Hub for dinner in Tacoma and then to the Tacoma Convention Center for the dance.  I hope they have a great time!!!!!!

I went home with Peggy.

I got to travel back home with Peggy when she left.  I went to paint her kitchen and do some painting at Tami's house.  Tami just moved in with her boyfriend, Andy, so I got the bedroom, bathroom, sunroom and dining room all painted for them.  In between we got to have some fun!!
Kari picked us up at the airport and we went back to her house to get Peggy's car.  We ate lunch and then headed to Peggy's so we could get started on the kitchen.  On Tuesday night we were back at Kari's for dinner and then Kari took me out to Tami's.  Carter, Noah and Riley were being crazy.
Riley was helping Kari make dinner.
I painted all week long and then Tami bought us tickets to go on the River Architectural tour.  We try to go everytime I am there but something always gets in the way and we never make it.  The tour started at 4:00 pm and we got there right on time.  The only problem was that we went to the wrong tour company so by the time we walked the mile to get to the right place this is what we walked up to.  Our tour boat leaving without us!!!!!
We decided to walk down to Navy Pier and see what was going on down there.  When we got there we stumbled upon another tour company that had a tour leaving in 15 minutes so we bought more tickets and went on this one instead.
Yeah,  we finally made it.  It was so much fun and a great tour.  We didn't leave until 4:45 though and it was an hour long so by the time we got back it was getting really cold.  Good thing we had taken so many layers.  The 2 mile walk back to our car warmed us right back up.
Everyone came over to Tami's house for dinner and to pick me up so we all got to have dinner together and everyone got to check out the paint.  I think it turned out great.  I hope they liked it. :)
 Peggy, Kari, Riley and Tami.
 Craig, Riley and Kari.
Tami and Andy.
I had so much fun with everyone and got lots of work done.  I am ready to go back and help when they have more work for me.

Peggy came for a visit!!!!!

We had another great visit with Peggy.  She came to see everyone for a few days and we packed in as much as possible while she was here.  We visited a lot of her friends, had a family bbq at our house,  went shopping, and ate at Taco Time several times. :)
Peggy and Megan making some very tasty cup cakes for our bbq.
 Marilyn and Peggy.
 Bill, Sandy and Peggy.
 Megan, Jarvis, and Shannon.
We had lots of cousins over that we haven't seen in a really long time.
Mike was excited when we were leaving. :)
She even got us to go to church.  We had to get a picture for proof.
Megan and Alex were so excited.  That might have been the doughnuts they were promised afterwards but I could be wrong.
Peggy rode on Bill's motorcycle and was not happy about it.
She got back in one piece and had a great time.  She talked about how fun it was all afternoon!!!!
Bill, Sandy and Peggy.  Everyone still in one piece.
Megan got to ride the motorcycle also.
She had a great time also and came back in one piece too.
We had so much fun with Peggy here.  It is always great when she can come for a visit.  We get to see so many people that we never see and do so many fun things.  It would be great if she could live closer but I think there are a lot of people between here and Chicago that wish the same thing so we will settle for our visits.  Time to schedule our next one!!!!!
