Merry Christmas



It is Christmas morning and Santa has arrived.  Yeah!!!!! 

 We love Santa around here.  He always brings everyone brand new socks and underwear.  Who doesn't love nice fresh undergarments. :)

 Megan was so excited she even got a whole tub of cashews!!!!!!

 We headed down to Jim and Marilyn's after our Santa gifts. 

 Megan and Alex both got everything that they had wanted and were so excited.

 We got Marilyn some pictures and a sweater.

 We had dinner at our house and Megan had so much fun with Leighton.  She is such a cutie.

 We had plenty of food again.  We never seem to have a shortage of that. 

After dinner we headed over to Tony and Suzy's to exchange gifts.

We had another great Christmas.  It is always so much fun to get to see everyone and spend the day with so many people.

Christmas Eve

We had another fun Christmas Eve at our house.  My Dad and Bonnie were here this year so we spent the evening with them.

Megan got this cute hat and a whole bunch of great stuff.  I think she was more than happy with everything.

 Alex got everything that he had put on his list also.

 Mike got this great sign from Megan.  It says "I try not to laugh at my own jokes but we all know I'm hilarious."

Bonnie and my Dad got all sorts of great things also. 
I think everyone had a great night.  Now to wait for Santa, he always bring us the best things!!!!

Tolo

Roger's Winter Tolo was another fun thing for Megan.  She asked Jake to go.  They couldn't find any Christmas sweaters that didn't cost a fortune that would work for both of them so Megan decided to make them matching sweatshirts. 

 She loves the movie Elf so they went with that theme.  They both found all of the pictures and sayings and then Megan spent a couple of nights putting them all together.

 They turned out so cute and no one else at the dance had the same ones!!!!!

 Olivia was over at our house and they were waiting for Dalton but Jake had to meet them later because he had a soccer game. 

 We made Jacob and Alex stand in as their dates since they didn't seem to have any showing up. :)

 Yeah,  Dalton made it.  They took Megan with them and headed over to another friends house too meet up with the rest of their group and have dinner.  They were going to the mall to get a picture with Santa after dinner so Heidi and I told them we would meet them there to take pictures since we hadn't seen Jake.

 We found them at the mall.  They all looked so cute and they were so excited to see us!!!!

 This is how Heidi and I went to the mall.  We didn't want them to miss us and since they were all in matching outfits it seemed only appropriate that we be in matching outfits.  We walked the entire mall with them in these beauties.

 This was the best picture I could get of the four of them with Santa.  They make it nearly impossible to take a picture with your own camera.  I guess Santa really needs that $25 for his picture. 

They got a cute one of the whole group with Santa also.  It turned out really good.
I think they all had a great time at the dance and Megan just laughed at us in our funny outfits so all in all it was a great night.

Heidi, Jeff, and Jacob Visit

Heidi, Jeff and Jacob came for a visit right after Thanksgiving.  They got to stay for an entire week and we had so much fun.

 It was Jeff's Birthday while they were here so we had a birthday dinner for him.

 We went up to Seattle one day to see the King Tut exhibit.  We started at Westlake mall and took the tram to Seattle Center.  First we had to get our McDonald's soda though!!!!!

 We had to wait 3 hours to get into the exhibit so we toured Pacific Science Center for a long time.

 I just thought this was funny.  Alex is so weird sometimes!!!!! :)

 After King Tut we went inside to see the train set in the village. 

 We headed back home for some dinner at the Ram and to meet up with Jeff.  He had been fishing all day in freezing cold weather.  Crazy!!!!!

 We also went through the light display in Spanaway one night.  It was a lot of fun also.  I haven't been there in a few years so it was fun to get to see them again.

We had a great week with everyone.  I am so glad that they were able to come and they got to stay at our house.  That meant we got to see them everyday.  I don't know if they were as excited about that since they slept out in the trailer but I sure was!!!!!

Christmas Tree

Megan and Alex decorated our Christmas tree one night after school.  Megan is still mad that it is fake but it is just so darn easy to put together!!!!!

 We had a good time laughing at some of the ornaments that we have.  They always bring back fun memories.

 I am not really sure what Megan is doing.  It is a fake tree so she shouldn't be putting water in it!!!!!

All done!!!!!  It looks just perfect again this year.
