Alex's friend party

Alex had some of his school friends over this weekend for a birthday party. He wanted to go bowling and then go home for pizza and video games so that is what we did. He had 10 kids there total and 8 of them spent the night. I don't know if that was one of my better ideas. Boys are alot louder than girls are!!!!!!!!
Alex and Payton are checking out the bowling ball situation.
Alex, Luke, George, and Jacob waiting for their turns.
Olivia, Megan, and Jacob taking a cake and cookie break.
Alex got a lot of great gifts from his friends.
Here is the whole clan. They also decided it would be a good idea to have a nerf gun war in the house. I am so excited for Megan's birthday to come around. They just sit and paint nails all night and text on their phones. It's so much quieter. :)

Mike's Birthday

Today was Mike's 39th Birthday. He has one more year until the big one hits. We went to dinner at Red Robin and then came back home for the night.
We made him cupcakes today so this is all he got with one candle on it. He didn't even eat it though because he and Alex both got a chocolate sundae at Red Robin for their birthday's.
Megan and Alex with the birthday boy.
We had Jim and Marilyn over last night for dinner to celebrate so he got an actual cake yesterday.
Alex was in rare form yesterday for some reason. I am sure you can tell from the huge smile on his face.
Mike got lots of great presents from everyone and he is enjoying all of them.

Alex turned 11 years old!!!!!

It's hard to believe it but Alex turned 11 years old already. I don't know where the time has gone but he was so excited for his birthday this year. It was fun to listen to him count down for the last week and be so excited to have everyone over.
He got to pick what we had for dinner and he chose to have a pizza bar. He loves Bobboli pizza's so we bought a bunch of crusts and set up a bunch of toppings and everyone got to make their own pizza's. They turned out really good and I think that everyone enjoyed them.
He was so excited to open up his gifts and he got so many great things. He got headphones, a backpack, a bunch of video games for his new x-box360, Rockband, a few books, an i-tune gift card, a hat, and some money. He had a great night!!!!!
He got this t-shirt with the Rockband game. He really likes the shirt but it is a bit big. The good news is that he has plenty of room to grow into it and I am sure he will still wear it now.
We also had cake and Alex got to pick out what kind he wanted. He seems to like chocolate and he picked a triple chocolate fudge cake with chocolate frosting. It was very chocolaty but very tasty. :)
Here is everyone playing the new Rockband game. It was pretty funny to watch. He got three different rockband games so he should have plenty of songs to practice for awhile.
I think that Alex had a great day. I took Rootbeer floats to his class at lunch and he had a half day at school so he picked to go to Burger King for lunch. All of his favorite things!!!!!
Happy Birthday Alex.....

Everyone is excited.

We got word from Stefanie the other day that her and the kids have planned a trip this direction. We were all so excited but Megan took it to the extreme. She has made a countdown and hung it on her bedroom door and plans to take a number off everyday. She has 86 papers on there right now. Yes, I said 86...... She is really excited!!!!!! :)

Hopefully the 86 days will just fly by!!!!!!!!!!!
