Everyone Loves Pizza!!!!

We didn't do to much this weekend but on Sunday we got to go to Round Table pizza with all of our friends for Ryan's 11th birthday. We had a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed the video game room, the big toy outside and their very tasty pizza.
Ryan just can't get enough pizza.
Pat, Kathy and her Grandma.
Korrie, Scott, Suzy, and Amanda
Mark (trying to get out of the picture), Michelle, and Pat.
So many girls!!!!! Megan, Madi, Megan, Kristin and Amanda
Ryan, Alex, Matt, and Josh
Kathy's Dad Ben, her Stepmom Cathy, and her Grandma.
We had a great time at pizza and didn't even have to make dinner we ate so much. Hopefully Ryan had a great birthday.

Mike's third party..... The last one.

Well, It's Mike third and final birthday party. He wanted to go moonlight bowling so we went with 16 of our friends and bowled all night. We got four lanes for all of us and it only took about 3 1/2 hours to bowl all three games. Mike did really good and got a 212 on his last game so he was excited.
Mike and Brian are setting up the names on two of the lanes.
Pat, Kathy, and Angie set up everyone on the other two lanes.
Scott and Korrie are waiting to start. They are really excited. Can't you tell?????
Cliff, Heidi and Mike are getting anxious.
Mike (another one) and Mark.
Mike, Kathy and Michelle.
They are all so crazy!!!!!
The guys are checking their tickets to see if they can win the jackpot.
Pat's number got called twice so he had a chance to win $500.00 once and $52.00 the other time. Kathy was really nervous when it was his turn.
He had to get two strikes in a row to win. He got the first one but missed the second one. He wasn't to happy about it. :)
Tony and Suzy arrived late because they got to go to a Hockey game. They got to bowl the last game though because Stan and Brittney had to go home. I don't know how excited Tony and Suzy were but it worked out just right.
We had a great time bowling with everyone. I think Mike was happy with his choice of what to do for his birthday. It was a really fun night with everyone, as usual!!!!
I think we are now done celebrating Mike's birthday until next year.

Mike's second party.....

We made it to Mike's actual birthday so he got to pick what we had for dinner. He picked steak, of course, so that is what we had. It was pretty tasty and he even cooked them himself because I am not a steak eater so I always mess them up. :)
Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. It was good!!!!!
I didn't make another cake because no one ever eats them so we had Baskin and Robbins instead. They always like ice cream and I think Mike really like the clown cones. :)
Mike, Megan and Alex had a hard time deciding who got which clown. It wasn't pretty but they each got a good one when it was said and done!!!!!

Mike's Birthday

Tomorrow is Mike's birthday so we went out to dinner with his Mom and Dad tonight. We went to the Olive Garden and had a great time.
We are anxiously awaiting our turn for a table. We went early enough that the wait wasn't bad at all.
The kids and I gave Mike tickets to go see the comedian Carlos Mencia and a Transformers Wii game. He and Alex are playing the game now so I think that he likes it.
I don't think that he knows what he is looking at with this one. I wrapped up the tickets. :)
He got a Cabelas gift card from his sister Kim. He always loves to get those.
Megan and Alex patiently waiting to eat.
Jim and Marilyn gave him some cash to buy whatever he wanted. We all know how much he loves that!!!!!
The Keyes family sent him a cool Chicago Cubs shirt and an i-tunes card. Both of which will be very usefull.
He even got a cake after we ate dinner. It was really good also and we managed to eat the whole thing even though we all said how full we were.
We made him an apple crisp at home because that is what he requested. We managed to eat some of that too after our dinner digested a bit. It's amazing how we always have room for junk food. :)
Hopefully Mike has a good day tomorrow since that is actually his birthday!!!!!!

The rain arrived.

Well the snow went away just in time for the flooding to arrive. We have had a lot of rain around here and a few problems with flooding. We live off of Woodland and it has been closed for almost a week now. It is suppose to start raining again but hopefully it isn't as bad as last week.
This is across the street from us. I watched the neighbors try to open their gate one morning and they had hip boots on.
This is a little park across the street. Notice that those are the handicap parking signs that have water clear up to them. There is also a fence right behind the sign but it is totally under water.
This is Woodland. I am actually in the middle of driving through it in this picture. Needless to say it wasn't one of my better ideas. The water was almost up to the bottom of my Durango's door and my car made some very interesting noices all the way to work. The beep that the car makes when you lock it sound sick now also. I think it must be full of water. :)

Alex turns 10 years old!!!!

It's hard to believe but Alex just turned 10 years old already. He has grown up so fast. It seems like just yesterday that he was such a nice quiet little baby. Those days are all gone!!!!!! Now he loves video games, going quading, playing sports and running around with his friends. Oh, and don't forget, he can eat anything in sight.
He had several different birthday parties this year and these are some of his highlights......
Alex had all of our friends over last weekend to enjoy his birthday. The kids all played outside and the adults watched movies. It was a fun night and Alex had a great time.
He got so many great presents. He was so excited about all of them.
He had to wait until Tuesday, his actual birthday, to open the presents from the Keyes family. The package arrived on Monday but he patiently waited until his real birthday to open them. He was so excited to get new games for his Nintendo DS and some hand made birthday cards from his cousins.
Mike and I bought him guitar lessons for Christmas so we decided he would probably need a guitar to learn on. We went down to the music store and this is the one that he picked out. He seems to really like it and he had his first lesson today. It could be awhile before you hear him playing on the radio.
His Nana and Papa came up on Sunday night for a birthday dinner and he got another new Nintendo DS game and a steering wheel for his Wii. I told you he liked video games!!!!!
He got to pick what he had for dinner on his actual birthday and he picked spaghetti and garlic bread. His favorite meal.
Heidi and Jacob were over for his birthday dinner and we got to have some tasty cupcakes for dessert. They had alot of orange and green frosting on them.
Heidi, Cliff, and Jacob gave Mike and Alex their birthday presents together. They got them a night at the Great Wolfe Lodge for all of us to enjoy the water park. It is going to be so much fun. I think we are going toward the end of February.
He got to have his school friends over for a party also. They came on Saturday afternoon and spent the night. Alex picked this gourmet meal for their dinner again. They all seemed excited about hot dogs. I just don't understand that but they ate them all up so it was great.
He got a lot more great presents from all of the boys and he had a great time playing with everyone.
It seems like his 10th birthday was a huge success all around. He enjoyed all of his parties and has been so excited about all of the gifts that he has received. He also got some great presents from his Aunt Peggy in Illinois, His Grandpa and Bonnie in Las Vegas and his Aunt Kim in Arizona. Thank you all so much!!!!!
