The Summer Begins

We went on our first camping trip of the year. We went back to the lake and had a great time. It was so nice out and everyone had a great time.
Mike is excited to be outside and getting ready to go out on the boat.

Alex is a little cold after getting out of the water. It was some chilly water.

Alex and Matt spent most of the weekend fishing. They went out with Mark and came back with about 5 little guys.

The girls decided they wanted to sleep in a tent this year. They set it up on the dock and slept down there every night. They seemed to really have fun and it made for some extra room in the trailer for us.

The girls got to go intertubing behind the boat a few times. They all love to do that.

We actually had to use the EZ up's for sun blockers this time. Normally we use them for the rain. It was a nice change.

It is always fun to go with everyone and just relax. We had a great time as usual and we are looking forward to our next trip.

Fun filled day

We were going to Seattle today to go to Theo's first birthday party so we decided to make a day out of it. We had a great time and it was so nice out. I wish we could have this beautiful weather all year!!!!!
We went to the Market and walked around. It was packed. We decided it was because of the weather but quickly figured out there was a wine festival or something going on. It was crazy.

Alex and Mike had a good time feeding the seagulls. They were taking french fries right out of their hands.

A lady stopped and offered to take our picture, which I thought was so nice, then when she got done she wanted us to take a picture of her family. It was still nice of her but I thought it was funny.

We made it to Theo's birthday party just in time for him to get cake. This is Theo, Bonnie, and Georgia.

My Dad arrived this morning in time for the party so we got to see him also.

We had a great day in Seattle. The party was fun and getting to go downtown is always a good time. Hopefully the sun will stick around for awhile and we can get a chance to enjoy it some more.

Las Vegas

Heidi, Sue and I went to Las Vegas for the weekend. We had a great time and managed to loose all of the money that we took with us. It was worth it though!!!!
We are on the plane ready to go. We will be there before you know it.

We made it safely and we spent our first day shopping and gambling. It was a fun day and it was over 80 degrees outside so what could be better!!!

We met my Dad and Bonnie for dinner on Thursday. It was a lot of fun and as usual my Dad had a coupon so it was cheap to eat. It was probably the cheapest thing we did the whole weekend.

We went to the Palm's on Thursday night to try and see some movie stars. There was an anniversary party going on for Mariah and Nick. Heidi and I are really good people watchers but Sue was distracted by the slot machines we were sitting at. She decided to put $1.00 into the machine and she cashed out a ticket for $50.20. That was a well spent $1.00.

We went to a comedy club on Friday night. We had a good time at it and it was something different and fun to do.

We came home on Saturday night after a few days of fun. We all had a great time and we are looking forward to our next trip. Hopefully that comes soon.

She made it to 13.

Megan made it to the big day. She is now 13 years old. She was excited to get to school in the morning and see all of her friends.
She ate her favorite muffin before she headed to the bus stop.

Stefanie and family sent her balloons to school. She had to carry them around all day and she loved it.

We went to Alex's baseball game in the evening. I am sure that is what was on Megan's list of to do's for the night but she seemed to have a good time and Alex did great during his game.

We had a couple of more presents to open when we got home from the game.

She got a bunch of clothes and a swimsuit. I think that she had a great birthday and is now waiting for her next one to come around. It will be here before you know it!!!!
