You have to be kidding me.....

So, Alex had to go to the public library tonight and Mike offered to take him for me. Who am I to say no to that offer? Well, apparantely I should have because this is what they came home with. Really? They were just going for a book!!!!!
I believe it's a black lab and last I heard it was named Oscar.
The little thing makes Hershey look even bigger than he already is.
This is it out in the back yard. Who do you think is going to get up with it in the middle of the night? Good question, I can tell you it won't be me!!!!!!
Megan and the new dog. I hope they don't forget to feed it!!!!!

Another fun girls weekend!!!!!

Heidi and I made a road trip to Idaho this past weekend to go to my friend Kim's birthday party. We had so much fun. It was a quick weekend with a lot of driving but it was worth it.
Kim and Sami. Mike and I used to babysit Sami when she was about 3 years old and they lived in Bonney Lake. She is 19 now. What a good way to make me feel old!!!!
Kim and I during the party at her house.
Heidi and I. We took our own picture. We didn't know anyone else there to ask them to do it for us. I think we did a pretty good job.
Kim, Me, and Heidi before we went out dancing.
We had such a fun weekend and it was great to get to see Kim and Sami. I see another road trip in our future!!!!!! :)

Go Red for Women Luncheon

I got to go to the Go Red for Women luncheon last week to watch Heidi. She was asked to be in the fashion show and talk about the Heart Association. It was a really great luncheon and hopefully they raised alot of money for the cause.
Heidi got to walk the runway with this adorable little girl named Riley. I believe she is 8 years old.
Heidi and Riley, Don't they look good? They got all of the clothes from Macy's since they were the sponsors.
Heidi had to talk after they finished walking but Riley just stood in front looking cute.
This is Heidi's pretty outfit. Something she would never normally buy but it looked really nice on her. If only they had gotten to keep all of the clothes!!!!! :)

Oh my goodness! :)

Megan had her last birthday party for turning 14 last night. She had her school friends over to the house for the night. I think they all had a good time and I know that Megan enjoyed herself.
We turned the garage into a party room. They got to listen to their music and play around outside. We had pizza and other snack but they really didn't eat much. We bought 5 costco pizza's and they barely ate 1 1/2 of them. We will be eating pizza all weekend I think.
Megan, Olivia, and Gillian hanging out. That's what all the cool kids do!!!!!
There were teenagers everywhere you turned. They played some basketball, tag, scootered, and skateboarded. They still weren't hungry after all that. We have a lot of chips and pizza to eat today!!!!!!!
Megan wanted these cupcakes instead of a cake. Keep in mind that I could have made her a box of cupcakes with frosting for about $3. No, no she wanted these monster Costco cupcakes. Good thing there were 20 of them in this box, just enough for everyone to have one. Bad news, we had 18 left when everyone went home. We will also be eating a lot of cupcakes this weekend. We can't let them go to waste.
Everyone got too sing in the garage. I think she was having fun.
This is everyone, I would list all their names but I don't know if I have them all right. :)
After is started to get dark and cold they moved to the back yard for a fire. It was pretty nice out all day but as soon as they headed out back to sit it started raining.
Good news though, we have E-Z ups so they were covered while hanging out by the fire.
They moved inside long enough to open some gifts that she got. She got a lot of candy, money and gift cards.
I think that Megan had a lot of fun and her friends were all really nice and fun. I am shocked that at 14 years old they couldn't eat more but I guess I know better for next time. The good news is that we are never lacking in food around here.
Happy Birthday Megan, I think birthday week is officially over.
