I'm so cheap

Megan is always wanting her hair highlighted and I am always telling her no because it costs so much. I told her we could maybe get it done for her birthday next month but today we were at Target and I had a great idea. Why don't I just do it myself for her. I bought a kit at Target for $10.00 instead of taking her to her favorite salon for $200.00. I think it turned out pretty good for a first time and she seems to really like it. Here is the before and after shot. I hope you can tell a difference. :)

This is the before. Prepare yourself for how good the after looks. It is impressive!!Here is the after. I think it actually looks pretty darn good. I am so impressed with myself. I can't wait until we have to do it again. I have a new strategy for next time.

Jacob's program

We spent Wednesday evening at Jacob's Spring program for his pre-school. Little did we know that we also got our yearly trip to church in at the same time. While I knew that the program was at a church I didn't completely understand that a whole service went along with it. We had lots of fun though and Jacob did a great job with his speaking part and all of his singing.

Nothing.

Well, we haven't been up to much around here. That is pretty obvious since I haven't added any new pictures to my blog in a few weeks. Stefanie told me that I had to add some new stuff so here are some random pictures from this weekend. Be careful because they are pretty exciting!!!!!
Mike is very busy watching tv. I told you it was going to be exciting!!!!!

Megan is being her normal goofy self. She is laying on the floor and who knows what she is trying to do. I didn't even ask. :)

Alex is playing his Nintendo as usual. I know you are all shocked but this is how he spent his weekend.

We did go to the movie on Saturday night but I couldn't take any pictures in there. They seem to get mad when you do that kind of thing.
