Alex got his pumpkin all carved up tonight so that he could take it hunting with him.
He was really excited to get started on it until he realized that you had to scoop all of the insides out. First he had a hard time getting a top cut out and then he wasn't happy about the guts not wanting to come out to easy.
Welcome to our blog spot. Here you will find pictures and stories about our day to day lives.....check back often to keep track of Megan and Alex as they grow and see what Mike and I are up to!

Fun Weekend!!!!!
I got to go to Arizona for a fun filled, very fast, weekend. I arrived late on Thursday and had to come home on Sunday night but we managed to get a whole lot done in that short time.
I got to see Jacob and his cool hat on Friday morning. It was hat day at school.

We got to go meet Kim for lunch. That was so much fun. It was great to see her and spend some time together.
Saturday morning we went and got pedicures. They were awesome. My feet felt so good!!!!!!!
Saturday night was the Oktoberfest party at Tim and Tanya's house. The gals were all required to wear cute shoes. These are all of our cute feet. Good thing we had those pedicures!!!!!
Here is their whole family. Tim, Heidi, Oma, Marie, Lloyd, and Tanya. The dog even stood nice for the picture. The other dog took off.
Heidi and I outside for a photo before the sun went down. It was so warm. Notice I don't even have a jacket on!!!!!
Heidi and her brother Tim.
Oma was busting a move on the dance floor.
Sunday we finished up with some shopping and hanging curtains and pictures at the house and then we went to a birthday party.
It was so much fun and so good to get to see everyone. I am so excited that they are all loving the move so far even though I was sort of secretly hoping they would hate it and move back!! :)

It's Hunting Season!!!!!
I am sure it is bad to say but I am so excited that it is hunting season. To Mike it means that he gets to try and hurt a poor innocent animal, to the kids it means they get to go camping in the mountains and spend the weekend by the campfire and to me it means a weekend all to myself. Yeah for everyone around here!!!!
Here is Megan and Alex ready to try on their hunting clothes. Notice how well they stick out against the wall. Just wait because they are about to disappear.

They are almost gone. Can you even see Alex up against the wall. Good thing Megan is still only half dressed.
Look how they just blend into the wall. That camoflauge really does the trick. I almost walked right into them up against that wall.
Good news is that everything still fits. Not only do I get some free time to literally sit around and do whatever I want without having to tell a sole but I don't even have to spend hundreds of dollars on new clothes to get it. Yippee!!!!
I sure hope they have a good time and don't hurt any poor animals. :)
