Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

We didn't really do much for Valentine's day around our house.  Mike, Alex and I went to a movie over the weekend for our Valentine so on Thursday we just made their favorite dinner, macaroni and cheese.

 Mike brought the kids home sweethearts. :)

 Mike got his favorite Ghiradelli carmels!!!!!

 Alex got one of his favorites, butterfingers, and some more Yu Gi Oh cards.

 Megan got an organizer for all of her electronics that she has been wanting.

I got a really nice card from Mike and then Megan and I went to see the movie that she had missed going to with us over the weekend.
Pretty much a quiet day around our house!!!!!

Mike's Birthday

It is Mike's birthday and he was so excited that we had a whole house full of boys there to celebrate that had spent the night for Alex's birthday. 

 Hershey looks more excited about the birthday cinnamon rolls than Mike does!!!!!!

 The Keyes family sent him a great gift card for Cabela's.  I think that might be his favorite store.

 Megan got him the soundtrack to Pitch Perfect and he didn't like it at all.  He actually gave it back to her right then.  How rude!!!!!!

 Alex thought the CD thing was pretty funny so he was just laughing at both of them.

The kids and I got him this cool clock that is engraved for his desk at work because we couldn't think of anything else to get.  I totally forgot that I had bought him a gift card for a helicopter lesson.  I am really getting old because it was probably close to three weeks before I remembered that I had it and that was only because I found it while cleaning out my purse.  Oh my I am so slow!!!!!!!  Hopefully he likes it better than he liked anything else that we got him!!!
We did get to go out to dinner with his folks to the Black Angus also but I forgot to take my camera.  Oops!!!! 

More birthday fun for Alex

Well I haven't done to good at keeping up on my blog so I have a couple of posts to catch up.  Luckily we haven't been up to much so it should only take five minutes.

After all of our company left we celebrated the rest of Alex's birthday.  We had all of his favorites for breakfast.  

 We even got to enjoy cupcakes for breakfast.  They are close enough to muffins. :)

 We went to the comfy movie theatre to see Jack Reacher.  It was suprisingly a pretty good movie. 

The next weekend Alex got to have a few friends over for another party.  We were pretty partied out after this one but we couldn't stop.  Mike's birthday was the next day.  Time to start all of our partying over!!!!!!
