Excitement in the night

So, we woke up at about 4:30 this morning to a whole bunch of thunder and lighting, at about 5:00 we heard the sirens. It was a tornado warning!!!! Stefanie and I got up and got all of the kids down to the basement to the "safe zone". The weather got better in a few minutes so the sirens stopped but next thing we knew it was raining and windy again. It was all cleared up by about 9:00 am so I went out and picked up the table umbrella's out of the neighbors yard.

The kids were not to happy with us for getting them up. They just rested on the floor for awhile until they decided it was time to get up.
This was my attempt at getting a picture of the lighting. You will notice that it is clear up in the left hand corner. It does not do justice to the amount of lighting that we actually got to see. It was really cool to watch.
