It's a Party!!!!!

We had a party tonight. The kids asked the other day if we could have a party tonight so I said sure not realizing how serious they were about it. They have been talking about it ever since and tonight when I got home from work they wanted to know what time it started. I told them to be ready at 5:00 pm and then I had to hurry. I got out some snacks, the ice bucket, drinks, and cups and started baking the cupcakes that I had promised Rena.

All of our guests arrived promptly at 5:00 and they were hungry and thirsty when they walked through the door.

Rena had even changed into her pretty party clothes.

Everyone went out to play basketball while I finished making the rest of our tasty food.

The kids were not to excited but we watched the tribute to Dave Niehaus. It cut into our party time but it was still fun to watch it.

We danced the night away.

We had cupcakes and ice cream and we even lit a candle and sang happy party night to us.

Megan and Stefanie worked on Stefanie's homework. They are making a blog for one of Stefanie's classes and it is turning out great.

Stefanie had an early birthday present for Megan so we sang Happy Birthday to her with our cupcakes.

Stefanie made her this cool coin bank. She painted it herself and even put Megan's name on the side. It was so cute.

I think our party went great and everyone seemed to have a good time. It is going to be hard to say goodbye to everyone tomorrow. We have had so much fun!!!!!

Kinect Fun

Tonight we decided to break out the Kinect and play some games. The kids were having a great time bowling and playing soccer but then we got out the dancing and it was all over. Everyone had a great time and there are some serious dance moves going on here. Mike and Cameron were trying to get the perfect picture of Stefanie

We had another fun evening and it's hard to believe that we are quickly running out of time. How does it go buy so darn fast!!!!!

Monday Movie Night

Tonight we had movie night after our very tasty dinner. Between Stefanie and the kids being here and Mike being currently unemployed we had a dinner that was way better than our normal Monday night dinner of frozen chicken nuggets and white rice. Tonight we had a roast that Mike made on the BBQ rotiserrie and baked potatoes that Stefanie cooked in the oven. Way better than in the microwave. :) Everyone found their perfect seat in the living room and we watched Tangled.

It's all about the kids!!!!

Today we went to Olympia and went to the hands on kids museum. It was not what I was expecting at all but it was kind of fun. I think that the kids enjoyed it so that was good. I know that Mike had a great time!!!!! Alex, Cameron, and Mike walking around the block to get there.

I think that they all had a good time at the museum and then we went for pizza on the way home and I am sure they all liked that. How can you go wrong with pizza? :)

All on Saturday

We had a fun Saturday. We started off by going to the movie Hop. It was so cute and we had so much fun. We managed to polish off 4 buckets of popcorn and 5 large soda's. Yummy!!! Everyone waiting for the movie to start.

After we got home the kids all wanted to ride the quads.

Cameron was excited to get to go a little faster this year. He was flying around the yard.

They finally arrived!!!!!

We have been waiting and waiting and Spring Break finally arrived which meant that Stefanie and the kids have arrived. They got here early Wednesday morning and get to stay until Next Saturday night. Everyone is so excited!!!!!! All five of the kids eating dinner on Wednesday. They are all so cute together and they get along so good.
